The cluster consists of 42 individual nodes, providing a core count of 1,140 CPU cores and 13TB of total RAM. The cluster is a heterogeneous configuration, consisting of 37 compute nodes, 3 large memory nodes, and 2 GPU nodes. All nodes are connected via a local high-speed, low-latency interconnect. This cluster has access to one petabyte of active storage, and another petabyte of space for remote backup. A tape library is used for archiving old files. The entire system is divided into two parts physically located in different parts of the campus for extra reliability. UPS and emergency power are available in place to keep the cluster running even on campus-wide outages. Trained staff are available to assist with any issues that may arise with the use of the cluster.
